Four figures stand in front of a colonial style church in this lovely cdv sized (2.5” X 4”) tintype. Sharp architectural details are contrasted by the soft focus blur of tree branches in the foreground that moved slightly during a long exposure. There are some small dings, and a few bends that do not break the emulsion, otherwise the clarity and tones are very good. The plate is housed in an original paper sleeve.
