Steven Evans Vintage Photography specializes in 19th and early 20th century photography by known and unknown makers from around the world. Photographic techniques include the daguerreotype, ambrotype, and tintype, as well as salt print, albumen print, carbon print, cyanotype, platinum print, gelatin silver print, and photogravure. Forms of presentation include the carte de visite, cabinet card, stereoview, photo album, and pop photographica. Subjects include vernacular, snap shot, grand tour, expedition, ethnographic, documentary, still life, portrait, landscape, commercial and artistic.
